Overview : This is a step in the right direction. I have definitely lost a lot of fitness but I am running without pain (other than the loss of fitness). I think I am ready to start ramping up the miles gradually.
About half rest, or less? Either way, just great that you're running without pain!
ReplyDelete200 jog after the 200 then 400 jog for everything else. Can't recover as fast as I could a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteJustin,
ReplyDeleteThat's good news. Do you do a lot of miles on really cambered roads? I'm wondering what caused the injury, and was happy that the course in Galway switched from the left to the right side of the road periodically.
Ben
I do and I think it has something to do. I try to switch or run in the middle. I also think it was a chain of events. I was having a great week (running long, hard, and fast) and then did almost 20 hours of driving. I wasn't the same after the ride. That's great abaout Galway. I have always wanted to go there.
