Overview : I really didn't know what to expect today. I was really anxious to do something. I felt good but didn't know if I had any deep lingering problems. I don't think that I do. I am ready for the next push. I will not however be going to Mt Wahington this weekend. I just think it is a little too soon. I am going to start training for ING Hartford Oct 9. I previewed the course this past weekend and like what I saw. Anyway, the break was nice but time to get busy.

ReplyDeleteNo Hill man. I just don't feel up for it. I don't feel like going up there just to run 68 minutes. Plus last year I ran myself into the ground by doing too much too soon. I really want to have a good summer and ease back into things. My thoughts will be with you guys.

ReplyDeleteSmart move to not race until you are ready, especially a race like Mt W that takes a lot of mental ability. If your head is not in it it'd make for a very long day.

ReplyDeleteYour right. I just can't wrap my head around a huge race yet. Once I decided not to run, it felt like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. That must mean it is a good decision.
